2023 Duotone Fish SLS
Duotone Fish SLS 2023 Surfboard
The Duotone Fish SLS 2023 Surfboard is perfect if you want to make every session count. It performs at its best in small to medium waves, where the Fish SLS brings smooth speed and control. Thanks to the shape of the Fish SLS, the surfboard will quickly get up to speed with little kite power for a pure surf feeling. Beginner, advanced or pro, the Fish SLS is a very easy surfboard that is suitable for situations that are the worst conditions and makes it a fun playground. The surfboard was designed by Duotone shaper Sky Solbach, with a retro outline that is traditional for the classic Fishtail shape of the ‘70s, but modernly tuned for a unique experience on the water. The tip of the Fish SLS is a bit further and is more forward, in addition, the rocker line is relatively flat compared to other surfboards, which gives the surfboard more speed and drive. If the wind is weaker than you had hoped, this shape will also let you easily get up to speed, allowing you to enjoy a session even in the lightest conditions. The shape of the rail, channels and the so-called 'fish' tail ensure that the surfboard is easily carved on the waves and feels playful, the faster you ride on the Fish SLS, the more performance you get in return!
The Fish has also received the great SLS upgrade to get even more performance out of it. SLS means that Carbon Innegra has been used instead of fiberglass. Innegra is incredibly lightweight and protects the surfboard against annoying damage such as dents and scratches. The lightweight team construction with bamboo and a cork shock absorber gives the surfboard a responsive flex for an ultra-direct feel. Cork has great damping properties and because it is applied throughout the side area, hits and landings are made as comfortable as possible. The Duotone Fish SLS has a fish tail, where the tail consists of two pin tails. Thanks to this tail, the surfboard has more 'hold', which gives you more control and grip when you make turns in the waves at speed. For the strapless freestyle riders among us, a grab rail has been added, so you can easily grab the surfboard and keep up with the latest strapless freestyle tricks!
